104 days missing. Doug Davies, the writer of this column and his mother Dottie have been gone without a trace for well over three months now.  I now have an undying respect for anyone dealing with a missing loved one.  Dottie might be alive out there – which is why I continue to write in this article.  Thank you so much to all of the fans who wrote in and are trying to help.  And also much gratitude to h Magazine for giving this cause a platform.  

This summer has been like no other. After I went into semi-retirement, my life went from very structured and banal to completely chaotic and just plain wacky. Normally, I would never disparage the name of our brave brothers and sisters in law enforcement.  However, this has to go down in Southland history as one of the most inept investigations ever to transpire.  If they find your dead body, then a task force is right on it. However, if you are missing and possibly need urgent help, then talk to the man who is never in the office. Since Dottie disappeared with her son Doug, I can only surmise that she is wrapped up in one of his conspiratorial misadventures. As an accountant, I’ve no investigative experience. However, as the only one working on this case, I have spent the last few months searching out these odd crevices of society in order to find more information pertaining to their whereabouts. As a seventy-something-year-old man, you would think I would have heard it all by now. However, as the following two journal entries show, I wouldn’t have imagined such scenarios!

6/14/2008 – Bashar Event - After meticulously going through Doug’s articles, something caught my eye… a romantic involvement with a woman he referred to as “Bashar Lady”. We all know that romantic love can make people behave abnormally. Dottie confided in me shortly before they vanished that Doug would sometimes cry in his room at night. If a man is shedding tears, there is most likely a woman behind it. I used the Internet and found out that someone named Bashar was speaking at a Holiday Inn located in The Valley. I would have brought photographs of Doug and Dottie if any existed. Instead I made composite sketches from memory. I am not an artist but often doodle in my spare time for fun. Nobody recognized them, except for one questionable individual who said that he “felt they were assisting in preparation for the hybrid children.” To help you understand this bizarre statement, I must give you some context as to who, or what Bashar purports to be. This Bashar fellow is an alien, and not the kind that are rounded up by immigration services… an actual outer space multi-dimensional whatever! In a nutshell, Bashar uses the everyday human, Darryl Anka as a mouthpiece to “channel” information for our benefit. I swear I am not making this up. But I have to tell you that it was quite a good show! All different types of people looked to this “kind-hearted extraterrestrial” for guidance on how to not only survive this strange world, but also thrive and be the best person they can be. It made me want to blow my trombone into the night while painting the moon setting on the ocean’s horizon. In my opinion, without the spaceman hullabaloo, he could be a very successful television talk show host. What a fun night. I need to get out more often. There were a good amount of nice older ladies there; I think a couple might have been flirting with me. *(Video of the night has been posted on www.bashar.org, and thank goodness or else nobody would believe me.)

7/04/2008 – 911 Truth Out BBQ – I decided to forego my usual Independence Day revelry and instead attended a “911 Truth Out BBQ”. I ran across a posted flyer for an informal gathering. No offense to the readers of h-files, but this strange breed of folk believes the US Government is behind the terrorist attacks of 2001. They say that the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon set the stage for on-going warfare in order to strengthen the American Empire for the benefit of the elite.  I will give these people credit that they passionately and fiercely defend their facts.  One being, that Building 7 (which Doug mentions on the paper towel found in June’s issue) does come down awfully quick.  But I’m still not so sure. Two of the biggest buildings in the world collapsed next to it. Wouldn’t that have an effect?  There is a deep distrust of government evident in the members I spoke with, and so much bizarre information. Unfortunately, no one recognized my sketch of Doug. Although one person said he read the column and was annoyed that Doug kept talking about “the lizard people”. He said that it discredits the other true aspects of what he is reporting on. I found this ironic hearing him speak of US officials detonating bombs to collapse skyscrapers and killing American citizens. It’s disturbing to hear seemingly intelligent people bolster their paranoid beliefs over grilled chicken and homemade potato salad. *(Search You Tube for “Building 7 collapse” and I’d be interested in hearing your opinions).

120 days missing.  I’m ready to give up.  But something keeps me going.   This letter from Suzanne Wallace of Long Beach certainly does help:

“Why should we care what happened to some guy who writes about weird stuff and his Mom?  I’ve read all of the h-files and have not understood one thing.  But one thing I do know is that when people go missing, there has to be an answer out there. Sal, I hope you find Doug and his mother Dottie.  You seem to really care about her.  After losing my cat Ellie, I know it can be very hard missing someone. If you ever need a caring ear, please don’t hesitate to write me.”

Since March 31st Doug and his mother Dotty Davies have vanished without a trace.  Authorities have been notified and the case is active, however, there have been no leads thus far.  As Mrs. Davies’ accountant and long time family friend, I am reporting on this incidence to raise awareness of this dire situation.  Again, the writer of this column “The h-FILES” and his elderly mother are gone without any explanation of why they have disappeared.  There is also no indication of how they left, nor where they have gone.  We know only that Dotty went food shopping at their local Armenian food market on March 31st.  This has become a deeply troubling issue.  The detectives on this case have assured me that all is being done to understand the nature of this unexplained occurrence and recover The Davies family safely to their home and life.

Unfortunately, there are no pictures of Dotty as she was very self-conscious of her appearance.  She did not allow photographs to be taken of her and apparently did not keep any in her possession.  The only two pictures in the Davies’ residence are of Doug as a child.  The photo shown on the milk carton was found on his “Facebook” online social networking profile page.  Frustrating as it is, neither have any medical records to speak of.  Doug is 39-years-old and is approximately 5’ 9” tall and weighs 195 pounds.  Dotty is 4’ 11” tall and is estimated to weigh around 295 pounds.  She is 77- years-old, but in decent health despite her physical condition.   

About a month ago Dotty confided in me that Doug had gone off of his anti-depressant medications and was acting more erratic and strange than usual.  This behavior caused her much stress and concern.  She believed writing this column was making things worse with him.  I am not a psychiatrist, however there is mental illness in my family, and there are definite similarities.  I have read several of Doug’s articles and there seems to be a through-line of paranoia, delusions of grandeur, and certainly a state of demented confusion pervading the emotional undercurrent of his words.  Dotty had also reported him being even more “polar” since writing for h Magazine.   

There are not many plausible reasons why The Davies would have voluntarily fled their home without leaving any explanation as to why.  There was no indication of packing or planning in their home.  To further complicate any tracing of their behavior, Doug insisted only cash be used in all their transactions.  This lack of a financial trail has made it virtually impossible to know anything of their actions before and up to them going missing.  Dotty lived off of a trust fund all of her adult life and Doug would collect a modest monthly allowance from her.  It is unknown how he would sometimes acquire additional funds as this column is an unpaid endeavor. 

Another complicating factor in this investigation is their apparent lack of friends or confidants.  Doug did not seem to have many (if any) friends or acquaintances and it is clear that I am the closest person in Dotty’s admittedly lonely life. The kind editor of this magazine, Ms. Elizabeth Johnson, rarely had any contact with Doug and was sent the monthly article via post.  One of the only sources of pertinent information is Doug’s journals.  He always carried a notebook and sometimes would stop whatever he was doing to suddenly scribble madly in it.  These were obtained by police and are being used to help determine their whereabouts.  I did find this loose paper napkin on the kitchen floor of The Davies’ relatively unkept house. The text has been reported to authorities.  I am not sure if it was meant for this edition of “The h-FILES”; however, I wanted to give it to the magazine in case any readers might know anything of its significance.  Due to the reference of 9-11, perhaps they were headed to New York City in an effort to quench Doug’s obsession for “the truth” in the realm of conspiracy.  This is obviously pure conjecture as I am not familiar with such matters. I am obviously not a skilled writer.  This article is meant to serve as notice to any readers Doug might have had and to reach anyone who has any information on this disturbing situation.  If so, please contact h Magazine at (whereinthehellisdoug@h-monthly.com) and put “care of Sal Victorio”.  Thank you for your time, consideration, and prayers.

Did you know the Nazis are winning?  Sucks, but it’s true. Modern warfare isn’t an army storming around being all macho. They now control the enemy through covert means with ways of manipulating and eventually wiping out the masses without them/us knowing it: Take flouride. Mmmmmmmm! I just love water with just a hint of aluminum by-product. They say it makes your teeth shiny and strong. Thanks ALCOA!  The only side effect is that you become a servile sucka slave zombie bitch.  So worth it for the strong teeth though.

Take Aspartame. With no nutritional content in our food, we become fat asses.  To overcome the lethargy, we want a pick me up without those nasty calories.  Diet drinks and chewing gum to the rescue. Aspartame tastes kind of sweet, but breaks down to formaldehyde.  I’m not an ad man, but their slogan could read: “Preserve the good feelings that Aspartame gives you… FOREVER!”

Take Chemtrails and pollution.  They decrease the oxygen levels while increasing heavy metals and toxins in the atmosphere. This helps NATO have a clear radar map the Earth and maintains a high acidic soil level so only Monsanto brand genetically-modified foods can grow. However, these things do not help oxygenate human blood to maintain a healthy body and immune system. Bah! Immune systems: so over-rated. It’s like, “oh look at me, I’m an immune system.” You know? White blood cells are so into themselves, it’s a little much.

Totally depressed yet?  I know.  I don’t mean to be a Dougie downer but it’s all true.  Mom is way tired of me talking about this stuff.  Whenever I do, she immediately starts doing something loud. We’re going to the psychiatrist this afternoon.  Apparently I need to take more pills named after alien overlords and everything will be fine again.  Nevermind that the same nefarious families are still running the show.  Even after they were proven to be supplying the Axis with everything needed for overt genocide and mind control experiments led by that super silly Dr. Mengele.  That didn’t work out so much in the long term, so now it’s a stealth endeavor.

I don’t think I’m out of line saying these Nazis are no fun.  Don’t invite the eugenicists to the party.  I guarantee they’ll ruin it. It’s the whole wanting to kill everybody with the appetizers and punch thing.  Population control is their game and they make the rules.  Don’t take my word for it.  I’m just some two-bit chump. Step right up and see how the Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Warburgs, IG Farben, the Bush klan, and other kooky cohorts created this demented system of destruction we have today.  Disease and war equals big bucks, but money isn’t the end all for these folks.  You see, we’re all playing Survivor and guess who’s getting kicked off the island……..

I feel much better.  These pills do work. I’m off of infomercials and have a new love for situational comedies.  Man I never thought they were funny before.  But now!  Hooooooooooooooooo — boy whatta hoot.  I’m embarrassed about what I wrote previously, but I don’t have time to change it.  So it’s a testament to what infomercials and conspiracy theories will do to a person.  Everything is fine.  You just have to accept the way it is.  Mass death and torture doesn’t have to be all serious.  It’s not so bad.  Always been that way.  Who are we to want change? Our trusted representatives are doing a good job. The news actually makes sense if you watch it enough. Diet soda tastes pretty darn good.  And blue skies are boring.  It’s time to be positive.  Positively sure that everything is fine.  I take back my April Fools.  No foolin’.  Just fine.
